| 18 October 2024 | 17:30 - 19:30 Bike Tour Scheveningen* The bike tour begins in Keizerstraat (Old Scheveningen), where you will be provided with a Haagsche city bike. From there, our guide will lead you through this old fishing village. He will show you all the unique sights of Scheveningen, such as the harbor, the boulevard, and the dunes. During the tour, the guide will share interesting local facts. The duration of the Scheveningen Bike Tour is approximately 2 hours. Departure from the Social Hub Hotel During this walk, our guides will tell you about the history of the historic city center and some of its famous former residents. We will dwell, among others, on the origins of the city, the House of Orange, the Old and New Church (outside), Hugo Grotius, Antoni van Leeuwenhoek and Johannes Vermeer. A second historical walk will lead you through the eastern and northern part of the city including the Oostpoort, the Paardenmarkt and some courtyards (almshouses).
